Creating the magazine advert in Adobe Indesign was relatively, and surprisingly simple, baring in mind we all had gathered a high level of skill from our AS coursework using the software. We were aware that too many fonts or different fonts and a busy layout can draw focus away of the main intention of the advert - to inform our target audience of the that the album is soon to be released giving them the details. We already had the focus image we had decided to use that i created on photoshop earlier. This we picked because of its use of overlays which links to our video, and creates a urban, powerful image that will draw our target audience in. The font we had picked before, new garden was used for the title of the artist and the album and we searched for more simple fonts underneath.

Star ratings an idea we gained from our research was used and this made it look really professional, using well known players in the music industry such as NME and Q magazine with high rating is also used to promote the album and fitting to the conventions. We also alluded to the Harry Brown film as this would be a popular hook to link the album to.
